After some quick global code searches using our LXR, I discovered that [Maui recently introduced a new type called IconItem](https://invent.kde.org/maui/mauikit/-/commit/12fd01054aaf40d53729ab2e266f41ea87bb289b) which coincidentally fits within the timeline of IconItem disappearing. How can this even happen in the first place?
