Another year, another major release of Astra!
NOTE: You must update Astra to 0.7.0, otherwise login will fail as of the second 7.25 hotfix release. We have a Flatpak build available on the website.
- Added Steam service account support, only supported in the Flatpak due to technical limitations
- Improved UX for installing the Steam Compatibility Tool, and also improved the reliability of the tool itself
- Removed various features such as Sapphire accounts and Gamescope due to bitrot and lack of use
- Added new options useful for alternative servers
- Prevents your system from sleeping on Linux when the game is playing or updating
- Added a local Dalamud option for developers that isn't checked for updates
- Various small UI improvements that make the UI look a lot cleaner
- Fetch avatars from the Lodestone directly instead of XIVAPI
- Improve reliability of the "game has quit" detection used for certain features
- Various improvements for the Windows version of Astra
- Numerous bugfixes, of course
